Abstract

|
In order to utilize the X-ray differaction method for the determination of crystalline components, determination of aspririn and phenacetin in A. P. C tablet was carried out.
The concentnration of the chief components and intensity of differaction lines in the direct method were approximately linear.
This method seems to be practicable, but it´s error is greater than that by the method stipulated by the AOAC.
This direct method is advantageous in several respects such as no necessity for extraction, comparative rapidity of the whole procedure, and small amounts of sample necessary.
